The Department of Computer Applications established in the year of 2012, under the School of Technology, NEHU, funded by MHRD, Govt. of India, with a prime focus to impart quality, career/research-oriented course in computer application to produce best possible manpower in the field.
Department has well-equipped state-of-art computer laboratories consisting of 30 modern desktop computers, one server, two work stations with latest configuration. The latest licensed software as per the requirement of the syllabus are also available in the department. Department also has 3 microprocessor trainer kit at present. All the class rooms are equipped with digital teaching aids like LCD projectors. Enriched collection of books on the subject is available in the Central Library of the campus
