The Department of Computer Applications is one of the pioneering departments of the university. The curriculum is designed to provide a good theoretical foundation through high quality teaching, complemented by extensive practical training. It is dedicated to the mission of inculcating value-based, socially committed professionalism to the course of overall development of students and society.The Department of Computer Applications started in year 2011 with the introduction of three year postgraduate course in Computer Applications (MCA). The objective of the department is to produce world class computer professionals in this fast emerging and changing field of Computer Applications.The Department has a team of well qualified and experienced faculty, with a good mixture of academic and industry experience.
The Department houses three air-conditioned computer laboratories which are well equipped with high configuration computers, Projector and dedicated LAN. The computer Lab has latest versions of hardware and a combination of system & application software and adheres to “one student one computer concept”
