Sullamussalam Science College (SS College)

Sullamussalam Science College is a first grade aided college affiliated to the University of Calicut which started working in July 1995. It's a matter of great pride that Sullamussalam Science College has been re-accredited with 'A' Grade by the NAAC in May 2014. Earlier the college had achieved the desirable NAAC Accreditation at the B+ level in 2005. The substantial progress of the College in a short time of just eighteen years is really worth appreciation. The developing infrastructure of the college is truly bound to make the campus, nationally competent in the coming years. The college was founded with objectives of imparting quality education to backward minority communities in rural areas of Malabar in general and of Malappuram Districts in particular

Central Library:The Institute Central Library houses a collection of nearly 31,710 national and international books, and 1795 book titles apart from journals and other reference material.
Computing Technology:We have a central computing facility called Network Center, located centrally consisting of more than 110 computers.
Seminar Hall:College has a main seminar hall which has 100 seating capacity and mini seminar halls for each department with 75 seating capacity with mounted projector setup.
Studio:Our college has a full-fledged, state-of-the-art Media Lab with all the facilities for the practical training of the students including DSLR and Professional Cameras, Tripods, Microphones, Audio Recorders, Mixer, Digital Audio Workstation, Mac Editing Machine, Teleprompter, Audio Booth and Shooting Floor.
Sports:SS College is providing better facilities for Sports and Games. Every year Annual Sports is being conducted in the college
Fitness Center:Multi Gym and Fitness Centre with all most modern equipments. Students and staffs are using this facility to keep their health in good condit.ion.
 
 Hostel Facility
SSC provides excellent hostel facilities for students. Girls hostel is located in the campus itself so it makes easy access between college and students. The hostel facilities are of high quality and well equipped. The Girls hostel can accommodate 100 girls. Members of the teaching staff are appointed as Resident Tutors in the hostel. The rooms provide most modern facilities and privacy.
