The Baliapal College of Physical Education was established in JUNE 1981, located at Baliapal, one of the most populated areas of Balasore district of Orissa State. The main purpose of establishing this institute was to up - grade the status of physical education by offering degree and post-graduate professional courses. The Bachelor's degree programme of one year duration (B.P.Ed.) was started in 1981, and Master's Degree course (M.P.Ed.)was introduced in 1987.
The Institute started as an affiliated college of the Utkal University, Bhubaneswar and then came to the fold of Fakir Mohan University, Balasore, in 1999.
We have a fully Computerized Library to help student in their particular field of study. We have a large and well equipped Gymnasium in our college.

We have well fascinated hostels in our college. Hostel rooms are well spacious , 24 hrs. water facility , well furnished bathrooms & toilets are there as student will feel it as their second home during their study period..
