Swami Vivekananda College of Education established in 2006 has deep roots and a relationship extending beyond generations with the teachings of Swami Vivekananda Ji . Ch. Dharam Singh Kamboj a strong believer and follower of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings and ideologies formed. “Swami Vivekanand Educational Society” which is now running several schools and colleges successfully in the twin cities of Jagadhri and Yamuna Nagar.The ideals are kept alive by his son Sh. Kamal Kamboj the Chairman of the college with his determination to make this endeavor a success. The college stands amongst the best institutes of the city. The educational programme aims at all round development of the students’ personality imbibed with spiritual values and scientific temperament.  Swami Vivekanand College of education is situated in Sec.18, Huda, Jagadhri. It has its own land of 3 Acres in which there are well furnished rooms, library, laboratories, multipurpose hall and administrative offices.It is a residential institution and provides cheap and modern residential accommodation to its students

The college provides excellent infrastructure with spacious class rooms, well quipped moderns method labs, smart class room, workshops as per K.U.K. and NCTS norms. The Institute has well equipped class rooms with green board, flannel board. LCD Projectors, OHP, Smart Class are used for seminars power point presentation or any subject materials lesson planning . The students are encouraged to learn and use computer in their teaching learning process. Internet Connectivity through Wi-Fi system is available for the use by staff and students. The Institute Library has been developed on modern lines as learning resource centre Library provides open access facilities. DELL Soft software is used for automating the library activities and services of the library. The Library has large collection of Books, Text Books, Reference Books, Magazines and a large no. e- resource. Internet, Reprography facility is available to the students.
