Swami Vivekanand College of Education was established in the year 2006. Our main motto is to enhance the qualities of upcoming mentors i.e. student – teachers for better society and is accordingly molded further to become a versatile, talented and omni –active person.‘SVCE’ aims at providing value added education especially in Science subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, along with Mathematics, Statistics, Geography and Computers, so as to make the candidates sustain the cut-throat competitions.
Library: The institute owns a spacious library ad-measuring 3000 sq ft area that is enriched with an array of related text books and reference books in Management and other areas. Various national and international journals, magazines, newspapers, Education CD's and also made available to the students for their value addition. This treasure of knowledge facilitates our students to update themselves with the latest issues in the business world.
Computer Laboratoy: SVCE Wakad has 2 huge computer laboratories with more than 150 computers to accommodate and run maximum number of classes consecutively. The labs are well-equipped with the latest computers and softwares of company-standards so that the students need not worry about not knowing the latest requirements in their respective fields.
Auditorium: The college has a huge auditorium with a capacity of more than 200 where many cultural events take place. The college group participates in different intra-college as well as inter-college events organized by the university and other colleges.
Canteen: The SVCE –Wakad canteen is available for a quick bite during the college hours. One can head towards the canteen for a cup of tea or for lunch. Different dishes are made available
