Swami Devi Dyal College of Education starting functioning in 2004 with an annual intake of 100 students. The seats were increased to 200 in 2006. The college is approved by National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) & affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra
The college is having well stocked library with more than 10000 books, 15 Journals and 4 online Journals. It also has well equipped Resource Centers i.e. Language Resources Centre, ICT Resource Center, Science and Mathematics Resource Center, Health and Physical Education Resource Center, Psychology Resources Center, Art and Craft Resource Center, Social Studies Resource Center, Curriculum Laboratory etc.
