Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Education, Kairon is a premium teacher training institution established by S.B.S. Group Managing Committee, Patti in 2007. The college has completed 6 years of distinguished service in the field of teacher education and has carved a special niche for itself in the educational superstructure of Punjab by dint of its student’s glorious achievement in the sphere of academic and cultural activities. The college is recognized by NCTE for running B.Ed. programme and is affiliated to Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. The college is also given recognition by SCERT, Punjab to run 50 seats for ETT course. The college takes the responsibility to groom the younger generation with internal and external values along with the development of life skills essential for leading a prosperous life. The college is committed to provide multidisciplinary teaching through innovative strategies to meet the challenges of global demands. The College has been persistently trying its best to promote quality teacher education and research. It has initiated and successfully implemented all measures in order to keep pace with advances in the field of teacher education.
The Campus has a well-equipped medical care centre to provide first Aid medical services round the clock, 7 days a week & 365 days a year. Realizing the importance of immediate medical care two qualified doctors both male & have been deputed to meet with all types of emergencies.
Hostel Facility
There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Each hostel has an activity centre, common room, reading room, dinning room with mess, canteen till late hours & other basic amenities like hot water supply in winter
