In 1969, ten years after passing of the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants Act, 1959 four qualified member of the Institute, together with two student members formed a Chapter of the Institute at Trivandrum The Trivandrum Chapter of Cost & works Accountants of India was recognised by the Central Council of the ICWAI in 1971, In 1976, the Chapter was recognised as an Oral Coaching Centre of the Institute.

Foundation Course | Intermediate and Final Course

Eligibility
Minimum Qualification for admission to Foundation Course Examination is a pass in the 10th Examination or equivalent. Students waiting for Exam results may also apply.
Minimum age limit is 17 years.
 
Duration
6 months
 
Other Details
The foundation course of 6 months duration is conducted twice a year viz., from April to September and October to March. Classes are of 2 hours duration in morning/evening every day.

Eligibility
Graduate of a recognized University. Or,
Pass in the Foundation Course Examination held by the ICAI. or,
Gazetted Officer of the State or Central Government.
Age: Eighteen years and above for Intermediate.
