Centre for Architecture is being set up under the approval and guidelines the Council of Architecture, New Delhi, a statutory body for Architecture in India.
Situated in a 2 acre campus in the university precincts of Mysore city, CFA infrastructure consists of a couple of heritage structures integrated with new custom built spaces. While the heritage buildings contain the library and administrative areas, the academic spaces are housed in the new structures flanking the former, resulting in an interesting milieu of spaces in between. Centre for Architecture is a collaboration of two educational trusts. Sri Jayachamaraja Ursu Education Trust ( SJUET ), Mysuru and Design Foundation for Study, Education and Research ( Design Foster ), Bengaluru.
