Panchkula Engineering College, is an endeavour of the Balaji Technical Education Society. The non-profitable society aims at transforming the way technical education is imparted in the country. Panchkula Engineering College aims to be a centre of excellence in the field of technical education and to shell out highly qualified, capable engineers and thought leaders, who shall be the pride of the nation.

The Campus is located on NH-73, 25 Kms from Chandigarh, 18 Kms from Panchkula and is spread over an area of 15 acres. Apart from buildings, the campus is beautifully designed with lush green lawns and aesthetically laid ornamental trees. The peaceful, pollution-free and natural environment is conducive for the all round development of the students. Around the Campus, there is lot of job potential, in the emerging area of Nano Science City, IT Park of Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh and other Industrial Areas of Baddi, Parwanoo, Ambala etc.
Hostel Facility
The college maintains separate hostels for boys and girls in the campus with a common dinning area. The students are provided with triple occupancy rooms. The hostels have common room facilities, indoor games, satellite television and telephone. Maintenance of discipline in the hostels is the responsibility of the students ad the wardens. Confirming to the regulations framed in this behalf is mandatory.
The Professional training and placement cell has been established in the college with the objectives of planning, supervising, monitoring and evaluation of on-the job training of students in industries of repute and other organizations and providing facilities and assistance lo the students in career selection. The Institute is providing lectures of PDP & Communication Skills by the Professionals from Master Talent Source. Panchkula Engineering College is well aware of the fact that effective communication skills together with well groomed personality paves the way to success. The institute conducts short term programmes to enhance communication skills and to develop the personality of the students. These are achieved by exploring the services of experts in the relevant field. The objective of the module on communications is to improve skills in oral, spoken and written English. The module on personality development emphasizes grooming of individuals including appearance, manners, etiquettes and overall personality. Strengths-Weaknesses-Opportunities & Threat analysis is used for self-assessment and consequent improvement.
