Placement Records

The National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh was inaugurated on 18th Aug 2010 as a member of a group of ten new NITs. These new NITs were established as centres of excellence in technical education to combat the growing need of technological professionals in India as well as in the World. The institute has been through many trials since its establishment in 2010, but ultimately has triumphed over all challenges and is thriving today with more than 250 students on roll and many distinguished members of faculty as well as a good many numbers of competent administrative staff.

10+2 with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory Subjects along with one of the following subjects – Chemistry/ Bio Technology/ Computer Science/ Biology with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST candidates).

Admission Procedure
The admission is based on the score in the JEE (Main) Exam conducted by JEE Apex Board of the C.B.S.E. and marks scored (normalized) in the Class 12th or 10+2 in the ratio of 60:40. The Counselling for admission is conducted by the Central Counselling Board (CCB) constituted by the Government of India.

Candidate with B.E. / B. Tech in appropriate branch of engineering with minimum of 80 % marks or equivalent from recognized University / Institute

Admission Procedure
The selection will be based on the performance in the class XII, B.Tech / BE or equivalent examination / performance in the Test and in the Interview conducted by NIT(AP). Candidates with valid Gate score will be preferred

Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology or equivalent to an appropriate area, or an MCA {for the Department of CSE) with at least 60% marks or equivalent { Cpl of 6.5} for General/ OBC category students and 55% marks or CPI of 6.0 in case of SC/ ST category of students; Valid GATE score for Regular {full-time) students

Admission Procedure
On the basis of marks obtained by them in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering-GATE and through CCMT Counseling conducted by MNIT Jaipur.

M. Tech (Master of Technology) or equivalent for Ph.D. (Engg.); M.Sc (Master of Science) or equivalent for Ph.D. (Sc.); MA or equivalent for Ph.D. (Arts.) OR
An equivalent of the aforesaid degrees, as to be accepted by the institute.
All candidates seeking admission to the Ph. D. program shall have to possess requisite marks/grades in qualifying examination as shown below:
A. 60% marks (or a CGPA of 6.5 in 10 point scale or 3.25 in 5 point scale) in the qualifying examination in Engineering/ Science or
B. 55% in Humanities or Social Sciences (or a CGPA of 6.0 in 10 point scale).
