S.Veerasamy Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology is situated in the foot hills of the Western Ghats -- The home of green forests, rare species of animals and fine herbs. The institution was founded in July 2001 to fulfill the educational thirst of the people. The campus is located in Puliangudi, a city near the Madurai- Kollam National Highways (NH208) and it is also close to the famous temple city of Sankarankovil. The 75 acres of land which surrounds the campus ensures the best learning environment for the students.
The aim of S. Veerasamy Chettiar College is to provide high quality technical education without the interference of commercial aspects. The campus consists of department buildings and labs equipped with modern technology, hostels with very good amenities, libraries with a massive collection of books and many other services.
