The O.P. Jindal Institute of Technology has been established with the primary motive to "Impart quality education and train the youth to take up the future challenges of evolving INDIA". The Institute is a dream come true of its founder late Shri O. P. Jindal, an eminent industrialist, politician and great philanthropist.
The institute is having state of art laboratories. All the laboratories are well equipped as per AICTE/ CSVTU norms. The total available land of the institute is 25 Acres. The total build-up area of the institute is 218830 sq. ft, which includes instructional area, amenities and administrative areas. The workshop is equipped with CNC machines along with other machinery and equipments. The class rooms are equipped with all modern teaching aids like LCD projectors and Interactive board/ Mimio.

The capacity of the boys hostel is more than 750 and that of Girls hostel is 200
