Faculty of Applied Sciences and Biotechnology has two Schools, viz, School of Biotechnology and School of Bio engineering, Food Technology and Agriculture. Both the Schools are inter-dependent for academics and research. The vision of the Schools is to develop technically qualified, skilled, competent human resource through excellent teaching and hands-on training to cater the needs of Biotech and Food Industries. Since 2012, Faculty of Applied Sciences and Biotechnology has been ranked 2nd among the private biotechnology institutions of India by BioSpectrum survey. The University was also acknowledged for its excellent research in Biotechnology Sciences by CCI and Gujarat Technological University. The Schools have well qualified and learned faculty having done their Ph.D and post doc from various institutions in USA and Europe, emphasizing on quality teaching and research.
The institute has well equipped laboratories and lecture theaters, a library and a computer center.
