DBIEM, part of one of the largest group of Institutes in North INDIA.
The group was established in the fond memory of Sr. Lal Singh Ji(Freedom Fighter), who was a close associate of Netaji Subash Chander Bose. The same also helped the group formulate its name very easily. The objective of the group is to try and contribute to the society through the medium of education; with an aim of trying to help formulate an India that our ancestors might have once imagined. We at Desh Bhagat Group believe that education is the most humble contribution any one can make to a prospering country and a transforming society.DBEIM is a part of the Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes. The group was established in 1996 and since then it has added more number of institutes to its list; than the number of years to its age.
Campus Shopping Complex: We have provided a Mini-Market in the campus for the students and faculty members to purchase items of Stationery, Soft Drinks & FMCG products etc. We have also provided a Canteen & Juice corner. They can also avail PCO & Photostat facility. All items of daily use are readily available here.
Lunch Facility: Lunch facility is provided to the students at subsidised rates in the Cafeteria.
Study Loan Facility: The institute helps students in getting Educational Loans from banks with whom the Institute has specific arrangement for the purpose. Several banks like SBI, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Canara Bank, Syndicate Bank, Bank of Punjab, Union Bank of India, Indian Bank, Federal Bank, etc., provide Educational Loans to DBIEM students. Applicants are required to approach the respective branches in their city/ town for Educational Loans. The Scholarship and Student Loan Office assists students in determining the permissible amount of loan, documentation required and the overall process for availing the same.
Sports: With an aim to make our students stress free from their hectic study schedule and also for proper utilization of their leisure time, college has developed a play field. The play field has been designed to provide facilities for athletic and outdoor sports. For indoor sports such as carom, table tennis, chess etc., facilities are made available in recreation room of each hostel.
