Karuppannan Mariappan College (KMC), Tirupur was established in 1997 with the prime objective of providing effective & efficient education. The college is affiliated to Bharathiar University and is Accredited by NAAC. The college is approved by govt. of Tamil Nadu. The main aim of Institute is complete personality development of the student Extra-Curricular and Co-curricular activities go hand in hand with academic programmes. The institute aimed at creating well qualified and competent students to cater to the rising demand of such personnel across the globe. The objective of the College is to impart to students and education of the highest order in Arts and Sciences for their all - round development. The college is a Self-Finance Co-Education College.

Computer Lab: The computer laboratory in our college is in performance by having more than 150 Dual Core and i3 machines with 2 GB RAM connected to a Intel XEON based servers networked on Ethernet backbone with LAN/UNIT connectivity.
Language Lab: English is a language of opportunities and it plays a vital role in securing desirable employment. Accuracy and fluency in the use of language are very essential. Technology – aided learning has started playing a significant role in the pursuit of language learning. The state - of -the - art language laboratory which has been established aims at facilitating the learners to gain mastery in the use of English.
Transport: The college provides transport facilities with more than 14 buses for the convenience of staff and students from the nearest point of departure and to attend the needs of industrial visits, educational tours etc.,
Hostel Facility
Separate hostel for men and women students are run by the management with Principal as the chief warden. The residential concept of KMC hostels is to simulate home conducive atmosphere to pursue their education in comfort.
KMC hostel students from around the world, all hostel students are around the world, all efforts are made to serve a wide variety of food. Food is served to satisfy diverse palates. The R.O mineral water plants are installed in the hostels to provide quality drinking water.
