Institute of Computer and Information Sciences (ICIS College) is an IT and Management based Degree College, offering at present BCA (Hons.) and BBA (Hons.), all are regular three year degree honours courses, affiliated to The University of Burdwan. The college is sponsored by Bankura Institute of Computer and Information Sciences (BICIS), a registered society under the West Bengal Society Act, established in 2001, with the objective of spreading need – based, job - oriented and professional education for the educated youth of this part of the developing district Bankura. Since its inception the college has been running quite smoothly and satisfactorily to the entire satisfaction of all concerned.
The college is located on the NH-60 near Kamladanga village, Purandarpur, Bankura, in an open natural ambient setting, quite conducive to academic pursuits. It is housed in a two storied building with a wide campus.
The college provides for a well furnished Software and Electronics Laboratory. We have also a well stocked Library containing considerable number of texts books, references books and a good number of periodicals and journals.
