The Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Centre for studies in Performing Arts (earlier known as Centre for Performing Arts), Dibrugarh University has been established in the year 2008 to impart quality education, both theoretically and practically in the field of Dance, Drama and Music. The major aims and objectives of the Centre are - Promotion of national integrity, solution of ethnic conflicts through cultural exchange and to create an opportunity before the new generation for getting employment in various fields of Performing Arts. Also to provide an opportunity to establish the North Eastern Culture in the global world through Study, Research and Performance.
