The Agriculture and Food Management Institute (AFMI) was established with a global perspective of assisting all the stakeholders of the Agri-Food Business for effective and efficient management of their concern. We are the first and foremost Agri Food Management Institute in India to cater ''Pre farm to Post fork'' requirement of the Industry with integrated approach by providing various services like Education, Consultancy, Training, Research, Human Resource Solution and Integrated Information.
Walking through the AFMI campus is an experience unlike any other. We, at AFMI, truly believe that the environment plays a very crucial role in enhancing concentration on studies or any other work. This is one major reason that the campus which is spread over an expanse of 15 acres, is built in such a way that it completely eludes the hustle-bustle of the city. The developing campus provides the best amenities to the students for their stay during the course. The campus design serves to strengthen the sense of community at the institute, with the belief that the daily interactions of students’ life only increase the potential for learning. The Academic Centre houses air-conditioned class rooms, an extensive library, a computer centre, Conference rooms, Entrepreneurship Cell, Get Together centre, and Meditation Centre.
The Institute provides the accommodation facility as per normal standard. Students can also opt for their own accomodation.
The Placement Process at AFMI aims to match the requirements of the Corporate World with the aspirations of the students thereby facilitating the achievement of synergy between the two.
The entire placement process takes three-to-four months. Through a series of o presentations and job postings, you have the opportunity to learn about recruiting companies from India and abroad. Placements commence with a series of pre-placement talks (PPT) by recruiters to the student body about the organization, their philosophy and their expectations. Students respond by submitting expressions of interest to them.
