Eligibility
Candidates for admission to the first year of the Degree of Bachelor of Commerce Course shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (Academic or Vocational stream) conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu (or) an examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the syndicate, subject to such conditions as may be prescribed thereto.
 
Duration
3 academic years divided into six semesters.

Eligibility
Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the Degree of Bachelor of Commerce - Computer Applications, shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Computer Science or Statistics or Business Statistics as one the subjects (or) an examination of any other university or authority accepted by the syndicate of Periyar University as equivalent thereto
 
Duration
3 academic years divided into six semesters.

Eligibility
Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the Master of Commerce degree course shall possess: (a) B.Com / B.Com (CA) or (b) Any other degree with one paper in Accountancy. 2 academic years consisting of four semesters.

2 academic years consisting of four semesters.

Eligibility
For Full Time : Candidates who have qualified for post graduate degree of Periyar University or any other University recognized by the syndicate as equivalent thereto shall be eligible to register for the Degree of Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.,) in their respective subject and undergo the prescribed course of study in an approved institution or department of Periyar University.
For Part Time : (i) Teacher candidates working in the University Departments; (ii) Teacher candidates working in the affiliated colleges and whose qualifications are approved by the University; (iii) Teacher candidates working in Polytechnics approved by the Director of Technical Education or in Higher Secondary Schools and High Schools approved by State Board or Central Board of Secondary Education or Educational Institutions of IAF (within Periyar Uuiversity area) who possess a Master's Degree. 
 
Duration
FT - The duration of the M.Phill course shall extend over a period of one year from the commencement of the course.
PT - The course of study shall extend over a period of two years from the commencement of the course.

Eligibility
A candidate should have obtained a Master's Degree with not less than a Second Class or an Equivalent grade. In the case of examinations, where classification does not exist, a minimum of 50% marks is a needed in the qualifying examination.
