Kasegaon Education Society is one of the leading educational society in Western Maharastra. Established by the then leading statesman late shri Rajarambapu Patil in 1945 for the up liftmen of rural masses starting schools and a hostel for backward class students at Kasegaon and nearby villages has been geared up by his son Shri.Jayant Patil after the sad and untimely death of his father, he shouldered society and added new dimensions to the education imparted in the institutions under the umbrella of K.E.S. He brought about qualitative and quantitative growth. Accepting new relevant and advanced trends in higher education. Consequently, today the society runs thirty one primary and secondary school and eleven higher education institutions which include three Arts commerce & Science college, three information technology institutes, an autonomous engineering college, a nursing college and a pharmacy college two.
Library: Our library established in July 1989.started functioning with a collection of only 701 books and was housed in a very small portion of one room. At present, the library is housed in a separate specious building. The library has over 26170 books and it subscribes to over 74 national & International journals. The library is also member of UGC /INFONET Digital Library consortium of INFLIBNET, Ahmadabad under which it has access to over 97000 + e books and 6000+e journals and few electronic databases.
