Udayanath Autonomous College of Science and Technology is located near the historic river Prachi in Adaspur Village in Cuttack district of Odisha, India. The college was started initially in 1986 in high school campus of Adaspur, the beginning of real growth started in 1987. To fulfill the growing demands of the people, under graduate classes were opened in Arts in 1991, science in 1992 and commerce in 1993. Honours teaching facilities were introduced in Economics Political Science, History and Oriya in 1996, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany and Zoology in 1998, Accounting & Management in 2002, English and Education in 2003 and Psychology and Sanskrit in 2004. The institution has expanded in all possible directions providing teaching facilities in Arts, Commerce, Science and Information technology. At present the college provides honours teaching in 15 subjects, and enjoy a unique position in the education history of the Orissa.
Canteen :The college canteen provides meals, snacks, tea, coffee, soft drinks etc. at reasonable prices to students and staff of the college.
Library: It contains 25,201 books of which title books constitute 2500. It has shelved many rare collections embracing a wide spectrum of knowledge for reference. The Library subscribes to 16 news papers, 40 journals and 10 periodicals. It gets enriched with successive accretion of texts and popular references worth Rs.10lakh every year to cater to the growing needs of students and the staff.
Computer center:There is one Computer Centre with Internet facilities on campus. The students and the staff of the college are its beneficiaries. It enhances technical skills of the pupils through different self financing courses at concessional rates.
