Kodachadri government first grade College was established by the government on 16-08-1985. The college began from B.A and B.Com courses. The college, in the beginning started in two rooms belongs to municipality. Then it was shifted to primary school building. In the year 2002 the college shifted to its own new building. The college took affiliation from Kuvempu University to start BBM course in the year 2006 and B.Sc course during 2010. The building is 1.5 k.m away from Hosanagara town.
