Anandaram Dhekial Phookan college (A.D.P College) is a seat of learning that celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 2009. Named after Anandaram Dhekial Phookan, an illustrious son of Assam, who struggled hard to establish the fact about the excellance of Assamese language and who desired all along to see a prosperous, beautiful Assam, the college caters for higher education needs of an educationally backward district of Assam like Nagaon as well as of the State situated in a serene atmosphere away from the din and bustle of town life, though within the town, the college offers an ideal surrounding dotted with green, luxuriant and foliage for teaching– learning atmosphere.
Library : The Central Library which is the heart of the College was established in 1959. It provides one of the important academic services to the Institute. It is a well equipped Library, centrally located with easy access and does provide right impetus for the intellectual growth of the students, teachers, research scholars & others around.
Gymnasium :Recognized as one of the healthiest practices the Gymnasium of the ADP College was constructed with financial assistance of the UGC and was opened for students’ use in 2013. Since then, ADP College gymnasium club was formed.
