Institute of Forensic Science (IFSc), Nagpur is only 3rd such Institution in the State of Maharashtra and 1st in the Vidarbha Region. It is managed by Government of Maharashtra and is affiliated to RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur. The college directly operates under the Higher and Technical Education Department of Government of Maharashtra Forensic Science is the application of scientific methods and techniques for the purposes of justice as applicable to the court of law. It''s a multidisciplinary science that involves Biology & Serology, Chemistry & Toxicology, Physics & Ballistics, Nanotechnology, Psychology, Digital and Cyber Forensics, Physical Anthropology, Entomology, Botany, Palynology, Graphology, Fingerprinting, etc. "The Institute of Science is well known for providing quality research and education in the country. In the coming times, IFSc Nagpur will surely play an important role in solving many unsolved cases in the city." Currently we are offering, B.Sc.and M.Sc in Forensic Science, PG Diploma in Forensic Science & Related Law, and PG Diploma in Digital & Cyber Forensics & Related Law.
