Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering, Coimbatore, approved by AICTE,New delhi and affiliated to Anna University,Chennai was established in the year 2008. The main objective of the institution is to impart knowledge and training to students from rural areas. DSCE offers five UG degree programmes namely CSE, Civil, EEE, ECE and Mech and four PG programmes namely MBA, M.E. Computer Science and Engineering, M.E. Communication Systems, and M.E. Applied Electronics. The infrastructural facilities available on the campus as per norms and are best in the region.
Transport: A full fledged Transport department functions in the college with buses to provide daily transport facility to students and staff to various places in Tamilnadu and Kerala.The College runs 12 buses for providing transport facility to students from various places in the city.
Internet & Intranet: Our college is fully equipped internet facility with a speed of 36 Mbps, in collaboration with BSNL, Reliance, networks. The node facility is available for the entire campus including the hostels. All the Computer Laboratories are connected to the internet through Manageable Switches (VLAN). About 500 users can simultaneously access the facilities of DSCE from the respective departments. Since the entire computer systems in DSCE are connected in the campus network, one can access any resource from any node in the campus. A variety of software is also available for the students and the users.
Library: DSCE Library is a resource center for teaching, learning & research. Fully Air conditioned, computerized, modern library equipped with built in video lecture hall, has a Digital Unit to provide access to the digital resources, electronic databases and Institutional membership of DELNET. Access to e-journals and databases like IEEE and LIBGEN. The library gives easy access to several web based video courses, NPTEL (National programme on technology and enhanced Learning) lectures prepared by the subject experts and professors of leading institutes of the country. These repositories are directed towards reducing any geographical barriers and ensures that highly evolved learning environment. There are almost 22,000 volumes of books and more than 100 National & International journals and magazines
Hostel Facility
The college runs separate hostels for boys and girls with all facilities within the campus and both hostels have spacious rooms and mess halls. Great care has been taken to make the hostel a home away from home. Nutrious hygienically prepared vegetarian and non-vegetarian food are served.
