Madhusudan Hore Mahavidyalaya

Madhusudan Hore Mahavidyalaya is a post-higher secondary educational institution dedicated to the promotion of higher education for the student of rural area in Cooch Behar District, West Bengal. The college is situated about 2 kilometers away on the North-West of Nishiganj. The college was established in 2011 to promote education and awarness among the student in general and backward and schedule castes and tribes in particular.

Library: The college library has a collection of good stock of Books on date and a modern reading room for students. It has periodicals, journal, magazine in its collection. Daily news papers and employment news are kept in the library. Students can enjoy the audio visual programmes meant for them.
Sports: The college has a newly modified big playground for students. The college is determined to arrange all sports materials among the students. There is also going to arrange a gym room to develop healty students. The college encourages students to take part in intra-college, university and other Government Organizations.
Laboratory: The college is going to establish a well equipped Geography Laboratory with sophisticated instruments and GIS & remote sensing software like Global Mapper 15, Map info, ERDAS IMAGINE where every students has access to laboratory, instruments and in case of any difficulty the teachers of the said department are available to help the students.
