Historically famous and conveniently situated, Barbarijhar Reserve is the location of the College. This Barbarijhar was originally the capital of Raghudev Rai, the son of Chilaraya, the brother of Koch King Narnarayan. It is situated in the middle point of Barpeta Road and Howly, on the western side of the N.H. 31. The College comprises 33 acres of land shaped in a semi-circular form and bordered by the dead river 'Manas'.
