Morigaon College

Morigaon College was established on 1st July, 1964. It is a one of the oldest institutionof higher education of undivided Nagaon district of Assam.

Guru Charan Medhi Central LibraryGuru Charan Medhi Central Library, named after the founding Principal of theCollege, is centrally located and easily accessible. It is an RFID based fully automated libraryusing SOUL 2.0 software.
Departmental Library: Apart from the central library, each department has its own library with a good collection ofbooks, both texts and references for the benefit of students and faculties.
A. K. Gohain Memorial Hall: It is a well equipped hall for meeting, seminar etc. with modern facilities.
College Auditorium: The college has an auditorium with estimated capacity of 1,200 seats. It is well equipped withacoustic sound system that enables the comfortable enactment of various cultural activities ofthe college.
Seminar Hall: The college has a sophisticated seminar hall with the estimated capacity of 80 seats.
Gymnasium: There is a gymnasium in the college campus with modern equipments..
Indoor Stadium: Work on the construction of an indoor stadium has been apace in the college campus. It willprovide adequate facilities for students at indoor games.
Boys’ and Girls’ Common Room: There are well-furnished separate common rooms in the college for both boys and girls.
College Canteen: College has a well furnished canteen for students, teachers and guests.
