The Government of India, through the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), has established Indian Institute of Science Education and Research which is a premier institute dedicated to research and teaching in the basic sciences.
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal was created in 2008 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Its mission is to provide quality science education to UG and PG students. The prime focus is to integrate science education and research with a motive of attracting bright students and world class faculty. The Institute is committed to impart high moral and ethical values and create concern for social and environment awareness.

1 .	BS-MS Dual Degree
	Eligibility Passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination Also candidates satisfying at least one of the following three criteria may apply: (i) Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna (KVPY) SX, SB, SA and SP streams. (ii) IIT JEE - Students obtaining a minimum of 60% marks in Class XII and securing a rank in the regular merit list. (iii) State / Central Board (DIRECT ADMISSION): Students with high aggregate scores in board examinations (X and XII) in science stream. and IISER science aptitude test. The State/Central Boards must be recognized by the MHRD.
	Duration 5 year BS-MS dual degree with major in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics
	Admission Procedure Through IISER Science Aptitude Test Application is through online.
	Other Details Students admitted to 5 Years' Integrated M.S. Programme will receive a monthly fellowship of Rs.5000/- called "INSPIRE fellowship" from Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India.
