Candidate must have completed (10+2) or equivalent examination with
i) at least 60% marks in PCM.
ii) at least 50% marks in English either in class 10th
or 12th.
With Min. 50% marks in English subject in X or XII std.

3years

Age limit:Age limit as on date of admission less than 25 years. Candidate should not be married.
Medical fitness: Should be medically fit.
Eye-sight: 6/6 in each eye without visual aids & Normal colour vision.

Candidate must have completed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) examination with
i) at least 60% marks in P.C.M.
ii) at least 50% marks in English either in class 10th or 12th.
with Min. 50% marks in English subject in X or XII std.

4years

Age limit: As on date of commencement of course less than 25 years .
Physical Fitness : The Institute has laid down minimum physical fitness standards as per D.G.S requirement. Medical test will conducted by VMI at the time of selection through D.G.S approved doctor.
Eye vision:- Use of corrective lenses for eyesight is permitted but the maximum permissible limits, at entry, are 6/12 in each eye or 6/9 in better eye and 6/18 in other eye for distant unaided vision. Color blindness not permitted.

Pass in 10+2 examination from a recognized Board / University with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM), with not less than 55% aggregate marks in PCM.
OR B.Sc. in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry or Electronics with Physics as individual subject in one of the year, with an average of not less than 50% of marks in the final year of B.Sc., from a recognized University provided that the candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognised Board.
OR B.E./B. Tech. or it's equivalent degree from I.I.T. or from a college recognized by AICTE/UGC.
Should have passed with not less than 50% marks in English as a separate subject, at either 10th or 12th standard or in the Degree programme conducted by a recognized Board/ University.

1year

Age limit: Should not be more than 25 years and less than 17 years as on the commencement of course.
Medical fit: Should be medically fit
Eye sight:6/6 in each eye without visual aids & Normal colour vision

Graduate in Mechanical Engineering / Naval Architects from AICTE approved institutes with Min. 50% marks in aggregate and min. 50% marks in English subject in X or XII std.

1year

Age limit:Not more than 28 years of age as on the date of commencement of course.
Medical fitness:Candidates should be medically fit and without color blindness.
Eyesight: Eyesightshould be at least 6/12 in each eye without visual aids.
