Shri Krishnkant Jhaveri Polytechnic which began as Government polytechnic in 1961 & later on known as Shri Krishankant Jhaveri Polytechnic.It was started to award Diploma in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engg. only in beginning. It is situated on Bharuch City old Highway No-8 road at a distance of 1.5 K.M. from the Bus Stand & 1 K.m. from the Railway Station. The institution is spread over a land area around 25 acres.
The Institution has a practice of preparing a comprehensive annual program of all academic and extra curricular activities right in the beginning of the session. This includes Independence Day, Republic Day Flag Hoisting functions. Paper Reading Contest, Blood Donation Camp, Declamation Contest, Engineering Material/Model Exhibition and conducting of class tests, short educational tours etc.Such participation of the students cultivates teamwork. There is also good amount of faculty participation, which helps in bridging the gap between the teachers and students.
Hostel Facility
The institute has two numbers of Hostels separately for Boys & Girls for housing nearly 400 students, providing all modern amenities such as DG Sets,Telivision,Indoor Games etc.
