Budge Budge Institute of Technology (BBIT) is a technical institute whose main objective is to produce result oriented and skilled professionals to meet the ever-growing demands of industries. The success story of an institution weaves around its pillars, which supports and facilitates the growth of individuals. These pillars are students, parents, teachers and administration. The Institute seeks to set up a supportive environment the essence of which is “care.” We care for each one who enters the portal of our institution for we know the power of a gentle touch, a friendly smile, a kind word, a listening ear, and an honest compliment – all of which embody parental care.

Central Library: The Central Library of Budge Budge Institute of Technology plays a vital role in the academic activities of the Institute. The Library is located in the third floor of the Administrative Block. The central library is housed in a 5000 sq ft. hall with reading room facility for 180 students.The library collectively supports teaching, research and extension programmes of the Institute.The library has been using Libsys (Library Management Software) for the library house keeping operations.It has a rich pool of text and reference books, etc. The books available in the library cover all the subjects according to academic course structure.Library Collections: The books in the library are classified according to the 22nd edition of Dewey Decimal Classification. The total collections include 40,660 books and the titles are 3,865.
Computing Center: A sprawling 5000 sq ft Central Computing Centre having HCL high speed desktops having 18.5” TFT monitors, with Microsoft latest Operating Systems and Softwares. All are connected with Gbps LAN and High Speed Internet Leased Line, controlled by centralized server.
E-Classrooms: E-Classrooms are available dedicatedly for every branches to provide a quality education with audio - visual facilities.
Language Lab: The wireless Language Lab has been set up in BBIT with an aim to develop as well as improve communication skills and vocabularies of our students. We have introduced a course in Language teaching Lab which consists of modules on key topics such as Practice Activities, Testing, Teaching, Reading, Lesson Planning, Teaching in large Heterogeneous classes, etc. Each module presents both practical and theoretical aspects with assignments.
Class Rooms with Audio-Visual Facilities: All the class rooms have been provided with modern Audio- Visual facilities like LCD Projector, Overhead Projector, Big-size Screen, Cordless Microphone with Amplifier and Speaker to facilitate the teaching and learning process. In future we will also introduce Interactive Electronic Boards in all the class rooms and tutorials.
Full Wifi Campus: The entire campus are well connected with internet for easy accessing and downloading the desired study materials as well as to get latest information regarding Development of Science & Technology which are taking place throughout the world.
Cafeteria: Modern cafeteria with all the facilities are provided to students and staff members in separate locations to have better interaction amongst them. The students here can easily energize themselves after absorbing class hours. Foods at administered prices will be available from in campus cafeteria.
Clinical Facilities: The Institute is going to provide a part time medical professional on all working days of the college for free clinic and health checkup for the students and staff members. In this connection a separate room has been earmarked where stretcher, wheel chair, bed sitting arrangements and other accessories with assisting staff / nurse are provided for efficient treatment to the inmates of the campus.
 
 Hostel Facility
Hostel Facilities Available: Seprate Hostel Facility Available for Both Boys and Girls.
Boys Hostel: Accommodation with single, double bed with attached bath and 3 bed and 6 bed with common bath are available in the boys hostel. Mess will be run by management selected contractor who would arrange to supply Veg and Non-Veg meals. A visiting room will be there for the guardians to interact with their wards
Girls Hostel: Two bed room with attached bath and three bed and four bed with common bath will be provided to the girls. The mess will also be run by management approved contractor who would arrange for continental and other types of food. A visiting room will be there for lady guardian to interact with their Wards.

Placement Service Available: The institute has a well-organized and well equipped Training and Placement Assistance Cell (TPAC) The institute also provides a large hall of about 1700 sq. ft. dedicated for the purpose of pre-placement talks and selection tests. BBIT recognizes that students come to study as a step towards building a career. To improve career prospects the institute employs reputed professionals to conduct special training programme in English Communication, Group Discussion and Personality Development skills. The institute further plans to set up Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC) by inviting several industrialists for interactive sessions with the students as well as to offer solutions for industrial problems to corporate in eastern India.
