1 .	Elementary First Aid (EFA)
	Duration 2 days
	Other Details Objective : On completion of this course, the trainee will be able to provide immediate basic medical care at the scene of accident or in case of other medical emergencies.

2 .	Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting (FPFF)
	Duration 3 Days
	Other Details Objective: A trainee successfully completing this course will be able to react in a correct manner in the event of an out break of fire and to take appropriate measures for the safety of personnel and of the ship and to use the Fire Fighting Appliances correctly. He will also be able to identify and take corrective measures to prevent a fire from occurring.

3 .	Oil Tanker Familiarization (OTF)
	Duration 5 Days
	Other Details Objective: On completion of this course, a trainee will be able to perform the specific duties and responsibilities pertaining to the Oil Tankers, like Cargo handling and allied equipments, care in transit with special emphasis on Prevention of Marine Pollution, safety and hazards relating to Tanker Operations.

4 .	Personal Safety and Social Responsibility (PSSR)
	Duration 3 Days
	Other Details Objective: On completion of this course, the trainee should be able to identify potential areas of emergencies that may arise in the marine environment, whereby he can take effective steps to observe “Safe Working Practices” to eliminate personal injuries and accidents. It will also help the Trainee to create conducive atmosphere designed to boost high-spirited humane/social relationship amongst shipmates.

5 .	Personal Survival Techniques (PST)
	Eligibility 3 Days
	Other Details Objective: On completion of this course, the trainee will be able to react in a correct manner during emergency situations and take appropriate measures for his own and others survival and use Life Saving Appliances correctly. He will also acquire knowledge which in some instances will enable him to identify and correct defects and thereby evading emergencies.
