Choudwar College was established in the premises of the Kalinga Vidyapith in 1968 to cater to the needs of higher education of the locality.It collapsed as a baby in 1971.Then with a renewed vigour and determination the present Choudwar College had a phoenix rise on 16th August ,1978 under the leadership of Sri Rajkishore Ram.To add to its glory this college has been accredited with B++ by NAAC.
