BGBS Women’s College is sponsored by Hindu Stree Punarvivaha Sahaik Sangham, Narasapur (Estd. 1936), which established the college in 1967, with the generous support from the philanthropists and the Central Social Welfare Department. The institution was established with the noble vision to dispel darkness from the minds of women and to enlighten and empower them through all round development with an emphasis on human and cultural values. This being the premier women’s college in the area, has made University education accessible to a large number of poor and weaker section students of the Society at minimal cost.
