Govt. Ayurveda College & Hospital has been established in the year 2012 and the 1st batch of students in undergraduate course has been admitted in October 2014, duly permitted by the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India, New Delhi. The intake capacity of course of the college is 60 nos. This is the only Govt. Institute providing Ayurvedic education along with health care in Northern part of Chhattisgarh and second of its kind in the state. This college has special attention towards the health education programme in remote villages of Chhattisgarh.
Library: useful reference books in various sections along with number of national journals, various news papers, e-materials etc. with the sitting capacity 50. Library is well equipped with e-library to provide better utility to the students and staff.
Dissection Hall: Highly equipped and well ventilated dissection hall for practical exposure.
Cadaver Storage: Mortuary cabinet for long duration storage of cadavers for dissection.
Museums: All Departments are well equipped with individual museums with various models,charts etc. .Computer and printer with internet facilities are available in all departments to help the teachers and students to keep pace with day to day scientific updates.
Mini Pharmacy: Both pharmacy and drug testing laboratory are well equipped.Students are trained in preparing various kinds of Classical ayurvedic medicines.
Herbal Garden: The herbal garden is well maintained with irrigation facility having 2500 square meter land with plantation of 261 species of medicinal plants and with demonstration room as per CCIM norms.
Bio-Metric System: To ensure promptness and punctuality,college is enabled with Biometric system with CCTV.
Hospitals: The college is attached with well equipped hospital having 60 indoor bed capacity and various speciality OPDs,which provide consuition to out- patients
