Mahatma Gandhi College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, established & managed by Sri Laxmi Narayan Charitable Society is located at the ISI 15 (A) RIICO Institutional area ,Sitapura, Tonk Road, Jaipur just behind Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Hospital.The Laxmi Narayan charitable society for Education Research & development was established in 2003. The member of the society include eminent educationists administrators & highly qualified professionals from the field of Medicine ,Engineering Science & Technology, Judiciary, Pharmacy & other allied subjects. The society is solely devoted to the growth & development of education in the state of Rajasthan. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt, of India, New Delhi & Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Rajasthan, Jaipur & is affiliated to the University of Rajasthan. Jaipur. Mahatma Gandhi College of Pharmaceutical Sciences has been envisaged as a centre of excellence & is poised to play a pivotal role in the pharmaceutical science in India.
Library: The library has a collection of meticulously chosen 4,000 books on different subjects of Pharmacy and Applied Science and Humanities. 30 journals of national and international repute, periodicals, magazines and newspapers are subscribed in the library in the periodical section. The special feature of library is DELNET through which it is connected to 743 Indian as well as foreign libraries. It is also equipped with reprographics facility.
Smart Class Room: There are a number of lecture theaters in Mahatma Gandhi Engineering College. Smart Class Rooms provides an ideal setting for lecture, with ideal refreshment areas located adjacent to the Hall. The institute has large lecture theaters, adequate to accommodate 150 students in each, scientifically designed. Visibility, acoustics and sitting comfort have been specially taken care of. The audio-visual teaching aids like the public address system, overhead projectors, and 35 mm slide projectors and LCD projectors are also available in each lecture theater. Lecture Theaters have recently been refurbished including the installment of air-conditioning and the latest technical audio and visual equipment. All the classrooms are spaciously designed and are well furnished with necessary technical teaching aids like OHP, Slide projectors, LCD Projector, PA systems and other online information systems.
Wifi Facilities: MGEC provides staff, faculty and students access to the wireless network on campus where available. The wireless network does not provide access to campus resources, only to Internet resources. MGEC provides free wireless access to the Internet at all two of the building and the central administration building MGEC also WiFi zones are available in all of the libraries and various public gathering places at the campuses. MGEC WiFi zones are currently available for use.
Computer Lab: While we at the College of Pharmacy's technology department do our best to ensure a safe and secure computing experience, it's also up to you to protect yourself and your data.
Sports Facility: The College has a large play ground where all outdoor games are organised. The students of the Department of Physical Education use this ground for their regular activities. Intra College competitions (both indoor and outdoor) are regularly organized with the active assistance of Students’ union. A good number of college students also participate in Inter-College and Intra district Competitions.
Transport Facility: The College runs 52 buses for providing transport facility to students from various places in the city. The number of buses will be increased corresponding to the increase in the intake of students.
Hostel Facility
Hostel Facilities Available: We have separate hostel for boys and girls. They are also permitted to use their own computers in their own rooms. The mess is spacious with a dining hall and kitchen. Separate seating arrangements are made for both boys and girls.
Placement Service Available: Placements are benchmark to the performance of any institute and it depicts the success and the growth of the institutions. The Objective of the placement cell is to facilitate the process of placement & ensure that each eligible student gets an opportunity in the industries. The cell aims to achieve 100% placement assistance to our students.We work on placing our students with core companies of the respective discipline of education. The students are placed according to their interest and skill that are set by the organizations where they can work and also increase their creativity & innovation in the development of technology as well as the organization.
