The BURDWAN MEDICAL COLLEGE & HOSPITAL is a semi Government Medical College located in BURDWAN, in the Indian state of WEST BENGAL. It is Recognized with the Medical Council of India (MCI) and affiliated to West Bengal Health & Science University . This medical college was established in 1969 with around 100 students. Through the efforts of a number of Luminaries and Philanthropists the Association has grown enormously by establishing a chain of educational institutions in almost every discipline from primary to higher education. The aim of Burdwan Medical College Central Library is to serve the readers , i.e. Doctors, Medical students, Teachers, Pharmacists, Laboratory- technicians, Nurses & other paramedical staff of the Institute. The Library has adequate books & journals & other E resources. Services are given by the qualified library staff.

Hostel Facility
BMC campus has separate in-campus residential complexes for students and staff, teaching and non teaching staff. N.R.I students are provided accommodation in separate building, safety and security in the campus is entrusted to a professional security agency.
