PMT established Rural Dental College and Hospital in 1989, with an intake of 100 B.D.S. students per year. The college has all the specialised dental preclinical and clinical departments as stipulated by Dental Council of India (DCI). The Dental College was affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and University of Pune till it became a constituent unit of this University.

1 .	Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
	Eligibility The Candidate should have passed the higher secondary school examination or its equivalent (12 years schooling certificate) with not less than 50 per cent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together or any other equivalent examination of any other country duly recognised.

2 .	Certificate in Dental Hygienist
	Eligibility The Candidate should have passed the higher secondary school examination or its equivalent (12 years schooling certificate) with not less than 50 per cent marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together or any other equivalent examination of any other country duly recognised.
	Duration 2 years
	Admission Procedure Candidates will be selected after entrance test

	Other Details This course aims to facilitate students to understand and gain knowledge of working as a chairside assistant who does oral prophylaxis, give instruction in oral hygiene and preventive dentistry but work under supervision of Dental Surgeon

	Eligibility Candidate who holds BDS degree from a dental college recognised by Dental Council of India (DCI) and who has obtained full registration either from DCI or any of the state dental council after passing final BDS examination and has completed one year Internship.

	Admission Procedure Candiate should obtain more than 50% marks in CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by this Deemed University
