Seema Dental College & Hospital (SDCH), Rishikesh was established by Dr.R.K.Gupta and run under the aegis of Dr.B.S.Gupta Medical Charitable Society, is the pioneer of Dental Education in Uttarakhand.
library: The library fulfills all the norms laid down by the Dental Council of India. It is housed in the multi-storeyed administrative building. Brightly illuminated and comfortably furnished, the library contributes to the atmosphere required for concentrated study and for research work. The shelves are well stacked with books and journals from various national and international publishing houses. The library has been organised into separate reader services - namely, the main lending section, the text books section, the general reference section and a periodicals and journals section. The library also offers the use of Computers along with Internet services. A photostat machine room, a reading room with audio visual facilities, and an inter-departmental communication system makes our library one of the best equipped in the region.
Swimming pool: An Olympic standard indoor swimming pool is provided as recreational facility.
Health club: A modern gymnasium and health club with latest health equipment and facilities for indoor & outdoor games is available for students.
Cafeteria: The menu planning at the mess takes particular care of nutritive value of the food being served under the guidance of a dietician. There is a cafeteria and tuck shop retailing ready to eat, hygienic and nutritious food.
Banking: Punjab National Bank ATM facility is available at college doorstep.
Computer and Internet facility: Provision for computer and Internet facility is provided in hostel rooms besides teaching places so that the students can explore the subjects with latest updates.
Hostel Facility
Separate hostels for boys and girls are thoroughly modern and air conditioned, offering single and twin sharing accommodation. Each room is supplied with a telephone, computer with provision of an Internet connection. The flooring in each room is white marble and there are attached toilet with 24 hour supply of hot and cold water.
