Ruckmoni College of Nursing

Ruckmoni College Of Nursing, Vellarada, Trivandrum, Kerala is managed by "Ruckmoni Memorial Charitable Educational Health Trust" is a Registered Public Charitable Trust established in the year 2002. The college was started in the year 2008 with an intake of 50 students. The college has excellent infrastructure and a team of competent faculties capable of catering to the needs of the students to develop pioneers in their profession and equip them for successful carrier ahead. The college is attached to a 330 bedded hospital with most modern medical and surgical facilities.

Laboratories :The college is spacious and has Lecture halls with most modern teaching equipments. The laboratories of Fundamentals of Nursing, Nutrition, Community Health Nursing and Maternal & Child Health are well equipped to facilitate effective learning.
Library :Ruckmoni College library is the primary source for study and for teaching. The college library has an excellent collection of latest edition of books, back volumes, journals comprising of national and international publications and thesis are available. The library is spacious, well lighted and ventilated. Internet facility and copier is available for students.
Transport Facilities :We have transport facilities to carry our students for their clinical training to various hospitals and to the community field apart from our parent hospital.
 
 Hostel Facility
Ruckmoni College of Nursing offers on campus accommodation with infrastructure necessary for the students to feel at home. Students who are from distant places or who prefer to reduce the traveling time opt in for hostel accommodation. Staff are available full time. Cupboard, table with chair, cot and mattress are given to the individual students. Television is provided for recreation purpose. Students are allowed to watch during the weekends. Indoor games articles are also provided. Water purifier is installed to provide purified water for drinking purpose. Telephone facilities are provided for students to communicate with their parents. Health needs of the students are met by our parent hospital doctors at Ruckmoni Memorial Devi hospital.
