Eligibility
Candidates shall have studied any branch of Life Sciences with Chemistry/Biochemistry as one of the major/optional/subsidiary subjects securing 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST candidates) in the aggregate excluding languages at the undergraduate level

Admission Procedure
Selection of candidates shall be on merit cum reservation on the basis of 60:40 weightage for marks of entrance examination and qualifying examination respectively. The procedure for the entrance examination as prescribed by the University Syndicate

Second class Master's degree (or 55%) in the subject/ allied subject
 
Duration
Minimum Three/Four Years and maximum five/six years for full-time and part-time research respectively
