The college campus is located near to the new N.H. bye-pass at Kollam on the outskirts of Kollam cit, hardly 7 km away from Kollam railway station making the campus quiet and conducive to serious academic pursuit. Beautifully landscaped with flowering bushes, manicured lawns and horticultural plants to keep the campus vibrant and ideal for the intellectual and emotional grow of the scholars.
The main building of the college is a modern three-storied architecturally designed structure with nearly 50,000 sq.ft. of total built up area, accommodates seminar and conference halls, library, computer lab and classrooms together with area for recreation.
Computer lab:
The Computer lab is equipped with a cluster of networked Pentium IV machines with internet connectivity. Student can make use of the lab facilities from 8.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. under the supervision of faculty members. The direct internet access service provides the students access to the information super highway to grab the latest information on developments and trends world over.
Library:The library is the livewire of any institution. The college has a well organized computerized library with a rich collection of more than 8000 books with multiple copies . It includes latest Technological Encyclopedia, CDs and a host of Journals. The library is open from 8,00 a.m to 5.30 pm. everyday.
Seminar Hall:The seminary hall is meant for conducting expert lectures by eminent persons from industry as well from other institutions of repute. There will be regular seminars of this kind organized as per the convenience of the visiting dignitaries, and should be attended by all the students of the respective disciplines. The hall will be made available to the students for their seminar presentations during the final year.
Audio-Visual Facilities:Audio-visual gadgets like LCD projector, OHP, Language laboratory etc. will add flavor to the learning process and development of communication skills of students. The internet facilities, photocopier etc are some of the additional facilities available.
The advisory System:Immediately on admission to the college, each student will be assigned to a faculty member called the Chief Advisor for that batch, who will open a student file for personal and academic details. The student and his parent can have frequent interaction with the staff advisor. After the result of each examination the details will be recorded in the student file. Any outstanding records or disciplinary action, misbehavior etc will be recorded it the student's file by the chief advisor.
