Mahendra Engineering College is the founding Engineering Institution of Mahendra Educational Trust (MET). The College was started in 1995. The College is now affiliated to Anna University, Coimbatore. The total built-up area of the present infrastructural facility is 31,970 sq.m.
Separate Hostel facilities are available for Boys and Girls. The Hostel provides accommodation for all the needy students. The rooms are furnished with Table, Chair, Cot and Fan. A Committee consisting of the following personnel manages the Hostel

1 .	B.E. Civil Engineering
	Eligibility Should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of (10+2) curriculum (academic stream) prescribed by the government of Tamil Nadu with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as three of the four subjects of study under part-III or any examination of any other University or authority accepted by the Syndicate of Anna University as equivalent thereto. OR Should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of Vocational stream (Vocational groups in Engineering / Technology as prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu II year B.E. Degree Programme (Lateral Entry) - The candidates who possess the Diploma in Engineering / Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, are eligible for admission to the third semester of the B.E. / B.Tech. Degree Programme in affiliated colleges through lateral entry system.

2 .	B.E. Computer Science and Engineering
