A Masters’ degree or its equivalent in any discipline with minimum 55% aggregate marks OR A Bachelors Degree in Engineering with 60% marks or equivalent grade point average OR Any professional qualifications such as CA, ICWA and CS with a minimum 55% aggregate marks. In addition, all the candidates must have secured a minimum of 55 % marks in all their public examinations starting with the secondary level. Work experience in industry or academics, though not mandatory, will be given due credit in the selection process. The work experience as full-time executives or as management teachers in an organization/institution (AICTE approved) of repute is only considered as the valid experience

Students are expected to complete the programme in four years

Candidates who fulfill the above eligibility criteria stated above are required to take Common Admission Test (CAT) held by the IIMs. Alternatively, those who have qualified GATE, GRE, GMAT and JRF (UGC/CSIR) examinations can also apply in the relevant area of specialization. Scores of any of these examinations including CAT taken during the last two years will be considered valid

The Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is a doctoral level programme of the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow.  The ideal candidates for the Fellow Programme are those who possess strong academic background, preferably with professional experience, and intellectual curiosity and discipline needed for scholarship in management. All FPM students are provided with a monthly stipend of Rs.15,000/- during the first two years and Rs. 17,000/- plus some financial incentives depending on their involvement in academic duties such as teaching, grading etc during the third and fourth years.

The fee for International Programme in Management for Executives (IPMX) is INR 14,00,000 (USD 40,000) which includes tuition, cost of course material, library and computer facilities, accommodation and mess charges

Applicant must have completed a Bachelor Degree programme or equivalent in any discipline recognized by a) All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), b) UGC or Ministry of HRD, Government of India.; In Graduation the applicant must have obtained minimum 50% aggregate marks (or CGPA of 5.50 on a 10-point scale); 45% marks for SC/ST/PWD categories.; The applicant must also have minimum 3 years full time working experience (after Graduation) as managerial, entrepreneurial and/or professional work experience ; The applicant must be below 45 years of age

3 years part time course

The total term fees every year would be Rs. One lakh and eighty thousand (Rs. 1,80,000/- only). This would be payable in three equal installments of Rs. Sixty Thousand every term, across the nine terms. In addition to this, there would be an Alumni Membership Fee of Rs. Five thousand, (Rs. 5000/-) paid as a onetime fee, during the first year, at the time of registration to the course. Further, candidates also need to deposit an additional amount of Rs. Fifteen thousand (Rs.15000/-) as a refundable security deposit, payable at the time of admission.

(a) A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Science/ Agricultural Engineering or allied subjects - (01) Agriculture: Agronomy, Soil Science, Agriculture Biochemistry, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension, Plant Breeding and Genetics, Entomology, Plant Pathology etc.; (02) Agricultural Engineering; (03) Animal Husbandry; (04) Dairy Science/Technology; (05) Forestry; (06) Food Technology; (07) Horticulture; (08) Rural Studies/Rural Sociology/Rural Cooperatives/Rural Banking; (09) Science: Biology, Biochemistry, Bio-technology, Botany, Life Science, Zoology and (10) Veterinary Science - with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/PWD category) or equivalent CGPA from any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the Central of State legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing Higher Secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. OR (b) The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/PWD category) or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State legislature in India or other education institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing Higher Secondary schooling or equivalent with at least two years experience or strong interest in the field of Agriculture or allied sector.

2 years, full time, residential program

Candidates are shortlisted for the interview on the basis of their performance in the CAT, scholastic achievement and relevant work experience. Group discussions and interviews are then conducted at Bangalore, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and New Delhi in the end of February onward. Final selection is based on performance in CAT, scholastic achievement, work experience, and performance in the group discussion and interview PGPABM is designed with the specific objective of developing agribusiness leaders, entrepreneurs, and intrapreneurs with a vision, competence and appropriate attitude for promoting/ growing agribusiness and agro-based enterprises with a strong international orientation.

As per the Government of India requirements, 15% of the seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) and 7½% for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates. 27% of seats are reserved for Other Backward Classes candidates belonging to the “non-creamy” layer (NC-OBC). As per the provision under section 39 of the PWD Act, 1995, 3% seats are reserved for Differently Abled (DA) candidates. The three categories of disability are: a) low-vision/blindness, b) hearing impairment, and c) locomotor disability/cerebral palsy. This provision is applicable if the candidate suffers from any of the listed disabilities to the extent of not less than 40%, as certified by a medical authority as prescribed and explained in the said Act.
