The Anndavar Polytechnic College was established by late janab.K.E.N.Mohamed Siddiq Sahib and Mr.A.K.K.Chinnathambi in the year 1998 at Gobichettipalayam in Erode District of Tamil Nadu state. The Anndavar Polytechnic College is being successfully run by our Chairman Mr.G.S.Sirajudeen and our Correspondent Mr.A.C.KarthiArasu. The Gobi Andavar Educational Charitable Trust consists of Anndavar Polytechnic College and Andavar Teacher Training Insititute which offers D.T.Ed. courses.The sister Concern Andavar Industrial Training Center which offers two year certificate courses.The Co-concerns Maharani Arts and Science College for women,Maharani College of education,and Maharani Teacher Training Institute at Dharapuram uplifts education in the rural areas.
The college has sophisticated laboratories for all the branches and students of various branches are acquiring practical knowledge as per industrial standards.
There are around 120 computers in the computer laboratory and students of all the branches can develop their skills in both hardware and software.
The broadband internet facility is also available so that students can update their knowledge.

The college has a spacious seminar hall for giving seminars by both academic and industrial experts on the recent technology.

Hostel Facility
Hostel for boys and girls are available inside the campus. The modernized steam cooker facility in the hostel is adding a special feature to the institution. The hostel has spacious rooms for comfortable stay.
Scholarship Facility
As per the advice of government of Tamilnadu the college gives scholarship to both hostelers and day scholar students under farmers development scheme.
