Equipped to serve is the motto with which the C.S.I. Polytechnic was started in the year 1984 on self financing basis. The Institute is run by Coimbatore Diocese of Church of South India, a Christian organisation known for its work in the field of Education. The Bishop in Coimbatore is the Chairman of the Polytechnic. The object of the Polytechnic is to give the students a quality Technical education for all castes and creeds to become useful and practical engineers and to equip them in the service of God and people. The college is known for its technical excellence, infrastructure facilities, steadily increasing record of performance with excellent results and enterprising students.
