The Trust and the college is managed by the Chairman S.Sivaraj Sanjai and the Correspondent Dr.Sivaraj Sivakumar & Managing Director Sivaraj Kalppana with an experience in the India System of medicine & Homoeopathy for more than 202 years, over Seven generation in the name of Sivaraj Siddha Vaithiyasalai, a globally trusted organization at Salem.As a first step in the field of education Sivaraj Naturopathy & Yoga Medical College was established in the year 1996 with intake of 40 seats per year, as a second step Sivaraj Homeopathy Medical College & Research Institute was established in the year 2001 with intake of 50 seats per year and as a crown of our Sivaraj medical colleges, Sivaraj Siddha Medical College was established with the pride of first private Siddha medical college in TamilNadu with 50 seats per year in 2009.We take pride in saying we have harvested more than 1000 Naturopathy, Homeopathy and Siddha Doctors from our sivaraj Medical colleges where the numerical will end in infinity in the feature and they are creating a Healthy World, With Service as their Motto.As a goal and objective sivaraj Medical colleges is marching towards the pride of First deemed University in Indian System of Medicine, This Success is our Journey… not Destination.
Library: Library is the most important multifaceted learning centre. The Library is housed in a spacious area and stacks more than 25000 books and reference volumes for lending to faculty and students. The library subscribes more than 25 specialized national and International journals, magazines & dailies. The Library is provided with wide range of CD, CD ROMs, DVDs, Question Bank etc., Photocopying facility and Internet facilities.
Transportation: Mobility to the College is easily accessible from Salem Old Bus Stand through Govt. and private operated buses. (Bus Route No. 91, 68, 29, 75, 81)The College owned buses are connecting the following points in Salem city that ensures our students and staff to attend the college on time.
Cafeteria: Cafeteria of Sivaraj Medical Colleges is effectively functioning with in the campus to satisfy the needs of students, staff, patients and visitors with delicious, hygienic varieties of food items at an affordable price. The canteen has spacious dining area with purified hot and cold water supply.
Herbal Garden: India has its own rich heritage in the infrastructure of Herbal plants and treatment of vulnerable diseases by Herbal medicines. The Herbal plants are widely used for Medicinal ingredients and health improving additives.Sivaraj Herbal Garden is located nearby our academic complex at the foot hills of kanjamalai were siddhars conserved the herbs in ancient times with an area of more than 30 acres containing rare collections of more than 1000 species are available for teaching purpose as well as medicinal preparation in our laboratories. The blooming herbals providing information and knowledge to the students, research workers and many are maintained properly under the supervision of an experienced Medical Botanist. A separate warehouse is available for preservation of endangered medicinal plants in the view of conserving it to the next generation. The medicinal plants cultivated at our herbal garden are more virtuous than other areas since it is located in the foot hills of Kanjamalai were the ancient Siddhars explored rare precious medicinal herbs.
Hostel Facility
Hostel Facilities Available: The Institute has magnificently designed separate hostels for boys and girls each with all modern facilities, for boarding and other recreational activities. The hostels have their own mess to provide good and hygienic food to the students.The boys' hostel has the capacity of about 150 boys whereas the girls' hostel can house 150 girls. The types of rooms are cubicles and dormitories. Mess is maintained on co-operative basis. Both hostels have common Rooms, Gyms, Badminton Courts, Volleyball ground and facilities for other indoor games.Each room is equipped with a bed, a study table, study chair, almirah and an easy chair.Various committees viz cultural, discipline, sports, mess, maintenance have been established to provide opportunities for overall development in their personalities during their stay in the hostel. These clubs serve to organize all the cultural events and other happenings in the hostel.The hostel provides the students with daily newspapers and various magazines to make them aware of the daily happenings of the world.
